REFUND POLICY

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

 If a business or personal emergency occurs resulting in you needing to cancel your registration you have a few options:

1. Transfer Your Registration To Another Event or A Friend

2. Cancel Your Registration 

Transfers:
You may transfer your payment to another ATICA Wilderness event within a 6mth period with an administrative fee if you give notification of 4 days or more prior to the event. An attempt to transfer within 4 days of the event will be considered a cancellation (see cancellation fees below) as we cater to attendees and cap the numbers which often means other people have missed out. For example, if the event is on the Saturday you have until the Tuesday evening 8pm to seek a refund or transfer, anything after that is considered a cancellation and no refund is issued. 

Cancellations:
There are NO REFUNDS issued within 3 days of a Community Wilderness Wanderer Hiking Event. Please note that there will be NO REFUNDS for No Shows or if any of the days are changed due to unforeseen circumstances such as a National or State Emergency, Government imposed Lockdown, or safety reasons (unsafe conditions/weather etc) the trip will be moved to a more appropriate day, time or location. No refunds or partial refunds will be given if these conditions arise. If the day is postponed to another date, the refund policy is reset.

As our adventures are in the outdoors we have contingencies in place for severe weather & track conditions. ATICA's group safety is our priority.

***In the event of Government Directions and orders, National and/or State Emergency, severe weather, dangerous conditions, bushfire or ACT or NPWS bush track closures due to total fire bans, or extreme wet weather, we reserve the right to amend our event for the safety of our participants.

If we are unable to offer a similar itinerary or need to postpone due to the conditions above, you will be offered an alternative date if you are unable to attend that alternate date you will be given a full refund minus an administration fee between $35 and $75 event cost pending.***

Bespoke Adventure Cancellations: 
There are NO REFUNDS issued within 7 days of a Bespoke Adventure if the whole event has been cancelled.

50% of the full amount paid will be held if whole event is cancelled within 14 days of the event. 

In the case of an individual cancelling their spot on a Bespoke Adventure the same refund policy applies to individual's as it does for the whole event, unless the ticket is transferred to another participant or if the event amount paid still exceeds minimum fee for a Bespoke Adventure. 

HikeFIT Challenges: 
If a business or personal emergency occurs resulting in you needing to cancel your registration you have a few options:

1. Make a Substitution 

2. Transfer Your Registration To Another Challenge/Event

3. Cancel Your Registration

Substitutions:
If you are unable to partake in the HikeFIT Challenge which you have paid in full or paid a deposit, you may substitute another person into your reserved spot without extra charge. Please notify us by email and provide the details of the person taking your spot so that we can move forward with finalising their reservation.

Transfers:
You may transfer your deposit/payment to the next challenge or another ATICA Wilderness event within a 6 mth period without any fees if you notify us before the 14 day deadline of the Challenge booking date. Transfers made within 14 days of the Challenge will be considered a cancellation (see cancellation fees below) as our goal is not to have to cancel on other participants last minute due to low numbers. 

Cancellations:
If you cancel your HikeFIT Registration before the 14 day deadline, we will refund your payment minus a $75 cancellation fee.

There are NO REFUNDS within 14 days of the HikeFIT Challenge date (but substitutes are allowed) or a transfer to another HikeFIT event with a $75 administrative fee if transfer made prior to the 14 day deadline. 

Please note that there will be NO REFUNDS for No Shows If any of the days of the Challenge are changed for safety reasons (Government imposed lockdowns/unsafe conditions/weather etc) the trip will be moved to a more appropriate day, time or location. No refunds or partial refunds will be given if these conditions arise. 

NOTE: Refunds and reimbursement of any kind will NOT be issued in the event of a participant falling ill, obtaining an injury or if unforeseen circumstances arise, that mean the participant is unable to continue on with the HikeFIT itinerary. Signing up to a HikeFIT Challenge is done so at the risk of the participant. On signing up for a HikeFIT, you will sign a waiver acknowledging the inherent risks that arise when participating in outdoor activity, and that you do so at your own risk. 

NOTE:  In the event of the HikeFIT event dates being changed due to Government Imposed lockdowns, restrictions, National or State Declared emergency, inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances that effect the dates/time we operate, the cancellation policy remains the same. 

Nature Escape / Active Getaway 

Note: Deposits are non-refundable and may be refunded on a case by case basis.

3. Cancel Your Registration

Substitutions:
If you are unable to attend a Nature Escape or Active Getaway which you have paid in full or paid a deposit, you may substitute another person into your reserved spot without extra charge. Please notify us by email and provide the details of the person taking your spot so that we can move forward with finalising their reservation.

Transfers:
You may transfer your deposit/payment to the next Nature Escape/Getaway or another ATICA Wilderness event within a 6 mth period without any fees if you notify us before the 21 day deadline of the Nature Escape/Getaway date. Transfers made within 14 days of the Nature Escape/Getaway will be considered a cancellation (see cancellation fees below) as our goal is not to have to cancel on other participants last minute due to low numbers. 

Cancellations:
If you cancel your Nature Escape / Active Getaway before the 21 day deadline, we will refund your payment minus  a $75 cancellation fee.

If you cancel within the 21 and 14 day period prior to the event date we will refund your payment minus the deposit and a $75 cancellation fee. 

There are NO REFUNDS within 14 days of the Nature Escape / Active Getaway date (but substitutes are allowed) with a $75 administrative fee.

Online Returns:
ATICA Wilderness offers you a free 30-day Return Policy within Australia on goods that have been purchased online (via this site) that are unused and in a saleable condition. 

The best way to process a return is through an email quoting your Transaction Reference number (found in your Order Confirmation email) and the product/s to be returned. We will quickly issue a Return Authorisation Number and delivery details for return within 30-days of purchase.

 All products must be returned in an undamaged, as-new condition with all labels and product swing tags attached. Any item returned that does not meet these criteria will be returned to the customer and a refund will be declined. A full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the original credit card for all items confirmed returned in a re-saleable condition.

Please make sure your return is easily identifiable with your Return Authorisation Number and a copy of your invoice so that we can quickly and easily refund your returned item/s as soon as they are received.Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions regarding the return of your purchase.

Warranty Returns:
ATICA Wilderness Adventures is committed to providing you with quality products and stand by them. In the unlikely event that you believe your item to be faulty you should endeavour to return your item via post to the ATICA Wilderness Adventures head quarters.

Shipping Terms and Conditions:
For your convenience, we ship using the Australia Post eParcel service anywhere within Australia. We make our best efforts to deliver products within 10 working days to the address specified by you during the purchase process, however, delivery to Western Australia, Far-North Queensland, and Northern Territory may require additional 2-3 days additional delivery time.

Upon completion of your purchase, our team will organise for your product to be dispatched as a priority. We will keep you in the loop via email when your product is dispatched.

Don't worry if you're not home when the product/s are delivered, Australia Post will leave a card at your home advising you that an attempt has been made to deliver your product. Your parcel will then be available to be collected at your local post office.
